As everyday life draws closer to the man-machine relationship that we have only often dreamed of about, stories about robots being an ever-active presence in day to day activities are no longer a shock.

Just recently, in Melbourne, Australia a new ice cream store where robots serve customers is trending. An invention from a robotics startup company called Niska, brings these robotic servers at Federation Square.

The Robotic Ice Cream Bar features Pepper, Eka and Tony.

Eka does the scooping with his seven axes of movement while Tony pours chocolate on top of the scoop in a perfect robotic teamwork.

The store includes Australian-made gourmet and artisan ice cream – with 16 flavours including rocky road, cookies and cream, and salted caramel.

Niska hopes that by including robots as servers in the ice cream parlour, more people would come and visit.
