Office convenience store “Robot Mart”

Androbotics Co., Ltd., which developed “FRUTERA”, has partnered with Robot Security Police Co., Ltd., which operates an unmanned convenience store “Robot Mart” in Tokyo, so that “FRUTERA” can be equipped with an office convenience store function.

When moving or unpaid, the product case is locked, and it is not possible to take out the product unless it is settled, so the internal product is protected from being stolen.
QR Code payment using PayPay has been introduced for “FRUTERA”, but the demand for payment with transportation-type electronic money such as Suica is expected to be large, so introduction is being considered.

Future prospects

At this stage, it can only run indoors and flat areas, so in the future it will be equipped with autonomous navigation by GPS and mutual collision avoidance functions to enable safe driving outdoors, and cooperate with co-op home delivery service etc. For those who find it difficult to go out, “FRUTERA” wants to develop a service to deliver daily necessities and food directly to their homes.
In addition, he expects to be active in a wide range of places, such as welfare and medical sites such as hospitals, and catering at restaurants and karaoke stores.
