Peace robots arrived at UN grounds on the morning of Oct 21, 2019. Created by Mr.Ray Tait named the robot David Wreckham.
David was created to deliver a message against the possible dangers of using robots not guided by human remote control. Robot Wars argues that the use of such robots may equate to great collateral disadvantages and is not guaranteed to have maximum field control.
They further explains that unlike drones, autonomous robots have the potential to do disastrous things they are not originally made to do.
Ray Tait built the robot out of old saucepans, the motor for an electric wheelchair and a soap dish for a mouth back in 2003.
David is expected to bring awareness about the usage of war robots and is expected to have state visits and country visits along the way for this cause.
A robot that is arguably relevant for today’s times.
