Developed by robot engineer Joe Jones, the creator of the robot Roomba, the robot “Tertill” that automates mowing uses sunlight to store electricity and uses various sensors to mow weeds while avoiding obstacles and plants. We have developed a mowing rumba.
Tertill
How do you know if it’s a weed?
“Tertill” distinguishes weeds in a very simple way. If you hit a plant with a height of 2.5 cm or more, it will change direction, so if you hit a plant with a height of 2.5 cm or more, you will change direction and start running. You won’t accidentally reap the plants you grow.
By covering the young shoots that have just sprouted with a protector, you will not inadvertently cut the favorite plant.

And if the plant is tall enough to pass under the “Tertill”, the cutter will automatically rotate to mow the weeds.

Using the same algorithm as Roomba, it searches evenly and cuts weeds, so the garden can be kept clean at any time.
When weeds are cut, the roots remain in the ground, but the leaves that photosynthesize to absorb the nutrients necessary for root growth are cut every time they come out, so the roots will eventually stop growing and die. ..
You can leave it completely
Since the area for cutting weeds is limited to the area surrounded by obstacles, it must be surrounded by obstacles with a height of 2.5 cm or more, but if the area is about 5 tatami mats, one “Tertill” is enough. That’s enough.
Because it is equipped with a solar panel, it does not require charging and does not use pesticides.
It’s a perfect product for your vegetable garden.
