The Japan Drone Promotion Association held a “training session on the utilization of drones in crisis countermeasures” for the demonstration of near-future technology for local government employees in Aichi and Gifu prefectures at Chubu University Nagoya Campus.
The Japan Drone Promotion Association has been conducting “regional industry revitalization projects utilizing drones” all over the country and is working toward the promotion of drones.
Drones are rapidly becoming widespread in society, and as a scene of their utilization, service markets such as pesticide spraying, civil engineering surveying, and facility inspections such as solar panels are already being formed, and in the future, disaster investigations, etc. Is also expected to be used for public purposes.

The Japan Drone Promotion Association announced on July 16th at Chubu University Nagoya Campus (Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture) that it will target local government employees in Aichi and Gifu prefectures for the demonstration of near-future technology. We held a workshop on utilization, etc., and 45 groups and 85 people participated.
The Japan Drone Promotion Association has been working toward the promotion of drones by conducting “regional industry revitalization projects utilizing drones” all over the country.
Drones are also called the Industrial Revolution in the sky, and are rapidly becoming widespread in society. The scenes of their utilization are not limited to simple aerial photography, but also pesticide spraying, civil engineering surveys, and equipment inspections such as solar panels. Service markets such as these are already being formed, and are expected to be used for public purposes such as disaster surveys in the future.
Under such circumstances, we held this workshop and received a great deal of interest from a large number of local governments.

In this workshop, each local government will propose how drones can be used with actual examples, and the purpose is to give an image of use in crisis countermeasures, especially drones. We have announced that we are preparing a system for cooperation with local governments that are considering the social implementation of future technology.
In addition, we will respond to individual requests from local governments that wish to hold drone demonstration experiments, seminars and case study meetings to promote understanding and strengthen cooperation within the agency.
In the future, in order to further strengthen the cooperation system with such local governments, we plan to start training and networking operators with various drone skills.
